proReifen.com has won ebay's annual award in the sustainability category.
The platform through which you can shop online for our retreaded tyres received a very special honour this week: The team around Mona Hinghaus was awarded the title of "Sustainable Company" by eBay in Berlin. Congratulations - that makes us proud too!
Saskia Hinghaus and Sebastian Berndt received the award at the event. The award was dedicated to the distribution of our retreaded tyres, which save 70% of energy and resources compared to the production of a new tyre and benefit from 30% of the energy required for this purpose produced by our in-house photovoltaic system.
This award is proof of the strong development of the online shop proReifen.com and the success that comes from the constant progress of King-Meiler retreads. For the King-Meiler team, this is a further incentive to maintain our goals in the service of safety and sustainability and to raise them to a higher level.
